Over the years my hair had thinned considerably and the baldness started to bother me, so I really wanted to do something about it. Hairtec truly helped me achieve exactly that. I look back on the past few months with great satisfaction. So when I was asked if I would like to share my experiences, my answer was immediately positive! Right from the moment I walked in I had the feeling I had come to the right address — it’s a beautiful, spotless clinic and I was greeted warmly and helped quickly. During the consultation they really listened to my specific wishes and clearly explained how the procedure would run from start to finish. That gave me the confidence to make a positive decision. The team that works there is very experienced and well coordinated — I could tell from everything: their knowledge, their way of working, and the relaxed atmosphere.

On the day of the treatment I was welcomed with a warm cup of coffee and the plan for the day was explained once more, which was nice as a reminder. Medical tests were then carried out and the new hairline was drawn in. Plenty of time was taken for that, and I found it reassuring that I could discuss what would produce the most natural-looking result. After that I was given a smoothie for a bit of extra energy and was ready to start. First I had local anaesthesia applied with a special device that injected the anaesthetic directly without a needle. I was then given a few normal injections, but I didn’t feel them. Around 11 a.m. the team had finished the first part (harvesting from my donor area) and I could have lunch (which was also nicely taken care of). Then the hairs were placed back into my receding temples. That went fairly quickly, because a team of five specialists was working on it. The atmosphere throughout the day was also very relaxed, which was pleasant because I had been a little tense beforehand. After the procedure I had an exit conversation in which they explained how the treatment had gone and what I should do (and should not do) over the coming weeks. It’s now 12 months since the hair transplant and I’ve also had a course of four receptor treatments. I’m very satisfied and honestly hadn’t expected such a wonderful result!
