Glenn chose a Sapphire FUE hair transplant to define his hairline and improve the overall hair density across his entire head.

I had been thinking about having a hair transplant for years. One day I’d had enough of not being able to look myself in the mirror because I hated how my hair was becoming thinner and eventually balder. Now that Hairtec has carried out the hair transplant, I still ask myself why I waited so long. The only downside now is that I have to go back to the hairdresser again 😉 Why a transplant in the Netherlands and not in Turkey, for example? Because I felt the aftercare programme was very important, and as it happens I had to use it intensively. I had come down with flu just before I had the hair transplant. Not very wise of me not to mention it beforehand. I thought it would all turn out fine. After the hair transplant, however, I started feeling ill again because my resistance was weaker. My GP brushed me off with: “Take a paracetamol and just ride it out.” Hairtec, on the other hand, wanted to see me more often than my own GP did! They listened to my lungs, took my blood pressure and gave me good advice on how to deal with it and the right medication. Of course, during my visits they also had a quick look at how my hair was doing. They also phoned me throughout the illness to ask how I was. I found that a very pleasant and reassuring feeling. What I mean by this is that it’s harder to get this kind of thorough support abroad. If something goes wrong, then what? A flight back to Turkey? I was now able to lie comfortably in my own bed after the treatment. So please don’t save a few hundred euros for less comfort, lower quality and many other things I could mention. I’m very satisfied with the process and already have a full head of hair I haven’t had in years. When I was asked if I would share my story, my answer was therefore an immediate yes. The Hairtec team are top-class and I’m happy to share that widely.
